What was the best concert you went to?
Blink-182 (with Taking back Sunday, and Weezer)! It was so amazing. Some other rad concerts I’ve seen are All Time Low (with We The Kings, Hey Monday, and The Friday Night Boys), The Starting Line (with The Dangerous Summer, and Valencia), and Paramore (with Jack’s Mannequin).

mark hoppus or tom delonge?
DAMN! I can’t decide. It really just depends on the day. Somedays I’ll be cranking Angels & Airwaves and I’ll be all about Tom and then the next day I’ll be listening to +44 or something Mark produced or helped write and I’ll be all about Mark. I really cannot pick just one of them :) Blink-182 as a whole was the reason I started playing music.

What is the best prank you have ever pulled??
Once my friends and I stole one of my other friend’s car and put it somewhere else. He left to pick up food and left his keys with us so we moved it. When he got back he thought someone stole it. Hahahahahaha. It was rad!

I honestly don’t remember. All I remember was it was a very mediocre. I’ve had better ones since but I don’t even remember my first one.

why were you named Mickey?
My real name is Michael after my grandpa. My family is huge baseball fans so they call me Mickey after Mickey Mantle :)

Who’s the most overrated musician?
I think the most overrated musician is Kid Rock. I am open to a lot of different kinds of music but I can honestly say I have never liked anything he has done. I think he used to be a rapper or something and then completely changed genres. Plus I hate that song All Summer Long more than any other song in the world. All he did was take Sweet Home Alabama and changed up the words a little bit. Anyone can do that. I don’t understand how he got as big as he is.

What is your favorite tv show from your childhood?
I liked a lot of shows back in the day. I loved all the Nickelodeon Classics like Rocket Power, Rugrats, Doug, and All That. I was also a big Pokemon kid. Hahaha.

If you could choose one local band to be a part of other than your own, which would you choose?
The local scene near Middletown I feel is very strong. There are so many good bands. Just to mention some, Gone By Tomorrow, The Call Out, About Last Night, and Explosive Sheep. If I could be a part of one of those bands I would say either Gone By Tomorrow or The Call Out. The music I write for Home Town Heroes is most similar to those bands. I hope we get to play with some of them this summer.

I can’t do the order cause it changes everyday. Hahaha. As of right now this is my top ten: Blink-182, Fall Out Boy, All Time Low, Freshman 15, Paramore, The Rocket Summer, The Starting Line, Hit The Lights, New Found Glory, and Jack’s Mannequin. It’s so tough just to pick ten. I wish you asked top 25 Hahahaha.

I wanted to be a baseball for a while. I’ve wanted to be a musician since I was 11.

I don’t talk to my junior prom date but I am still friends with my senior prom date. I actually talked to her today for the first time in a while. Hahahaha. Weird coincidence. But yeah.

Have you ever been in love?
I’m actually not sure if I have ever been in love. The word is defined differently by everyone. I guess the way I’d describe it is a feeling you have for another person that can’t be described in words. Like for someone that makes your life better and that you can’t imagine your life without. It’s the best feeling in the world.

What’s your biggest regret?
I can honestly say I have only one regret in my entire life. I lost out on what could have been a great relationship because I never expressed the way I felt until it was too late. I am a strong believer that everything happens for a reason. Every action and every decision in my life has put me where I am today. I guess what I am getting at is that my one regret is only a regret for now. What happened, happened for a reason. I am don’t know what that reason is now, but I will know eventually. It wont be regret forever.

My favorite shirt right now is one of my TWLOHA shirts. I have one rad one that is black and every other word of the title is either white or blue. The title goes all of the way down the shirt. It’s awesome.
